"In an ideal world, we would all be secure and confident all the time. We would eat what we want, and exercise simply to be healthy and strong. We would link arms and take to the streets in the Prettylution declaring, "I AM PRETTY! I ROCK! SHUT UP!" We wouldn't need anyone or anything to reinforce that for us, that's how confident we would be. In an ideal world."--Doom Song
That's really cute, watts, and green is so great for spring. I have a great black raincoat with big white buttons that I always get
comments on, but I think I want something in a color as well.
Yesterday I realized that I own zero short-sleeved t-shirts that are not maternity or sweat-stained. Brilliant. So I realized I would have to shop. Then, like
magic, I got an Eddie Bauer catalog in the mail! I have loved their shirts in the past, so I just ordered shirts and shorts and skirts, whee! Here's how
dense I am - I was going through checkout and it asked if I had a promo code, and I thought, "wouldn't it be awesome to have a promo code?" Then
I happened to glance at the catalog and in big letters it said "take 20% off your entire purchase!" That was like 3 free shirts for me! So...
Eddie Bauer promo code, valid through May 4 2009, 20% off entire order, valid on regular and sale priced but not clearance.

I need a new bag to use both for my stuff and for Clark's while we're out and about. Help me choose!
Do I want the Abanoz or the pleated shoulder bag? The Abanoz has an adjustable strap, which would be useful
for when I'm wearing Cal, but I like the shape of the shoulder bag better. And what color should I get? I'm trying to get away from black, and I've
been wanting a green bag. But is the apple green too bright? Or is the olive too drab? Red would match the stroller, but the grey looks really sharp.
I like the Abonoz better. And the adjustable strap makes it all the better. I really like the aqua marine for spring/summer, but the red is nice too. I love
olive green, but the apple is another nice choice for the season. All my bags are black so I'm no help there.
I think I've decided on the Abanoz. Now I just have to decide between the red and the apple green. I really like the olive, but I'm afraid it will look
very army surplus, and I really need more color in my wardrobe. All my bags are black, too.
I think I need help. I ordered a Rider tote in Monday's one-day sale,
and, despite the ridiculous shipping fees, am eagerly watching for the Faded Indigo messenger to go on sale to
buy it, too. Is there a Timbuk2 Annonymous group?
And, it turns out today is the day for the faded indigo messenger, so it has been ordered! That is IT for bag shopping for a while, though. No more.
At least, not until the Peanut' arrival is imminent, and then only for another change wallet type thing to keep newborn diapers separate from toddler
diapers.
It's been a long time since we've talked undies. I bought some from Soma after i had Nathan and they
are the best undies ever. I was hesitant becasue they are the lingerie side to old lady central, Chico's but they are worth mentioning. Super comfy, look
brand new 6 months later. I need to buy more.
I did more enabling of a friend's purchases than shopping of my own in Montreal, but I did come home with some summer shoes (in
orange, which is not pictured at that link). I feel like they will go with lots of casual capri or skirt options, and they are super comfortable.
Me, again, but it's been 10 days, so I figure a new post makes sense. Since I am probably about to enter a long-ish period of unemployment, I figured
buying some comfy clothes while I still have an income made sense. My mini Lululemon spree yesterday: the Game Day jacket in charcoal, the Pulse wrap in a Aruba (a heathered seafoam kind of colour), clam diggers in navy, and this T-shirt in bon bon.
Albacore, you always find the cutest casual wear. Those all look very sharp, and I love the colors.
I'm kind of at a clothing crossroads right now. I'm realizing that I really am dressed like a little raincloud every day, which is especially apparent
next to all the kid-colors around me. So I'm taking baby steps toward a brighter wardrobe (see apple-green bag above). I just got t-shirts in this green and this blue (though in different
shapes--I'm sad I didn't see that square-neck top in the store). The shirt colors are kind of muted and I'll be wearing a black tank under them and
probably a black or grey skirt. Will I look insane if I wear those with a cherry-red canvas jacket? And my green bag?
If I can integrate colors, my next step will be colorful patterns! Woo!
Hang on, when did lululemon launch a website? My stepmom LOVES their stuff but the only time she buys it is when she's in Chicago or Canada. She was
lamenting the lack of online availability last time we were in a store. I must inform her. Thanks Albacore!
St.Eph, I have that puff sleeve t-shirt in Cabot Cove. (awesome name for a color) It is tres comfy.
I got a 40% off one item email coupon from Gap, so I bought this coat in plum, which was neither a gap.com exclusive nor on sale (except for
the 40% off!). It's lined so it hopefully will take me further into fall than my spring coat.
Looks great, dree! I'm glad you got the plum colour, I think it'll look fabulous on you.
I am in closet clean-out mode. Andrew and I are halving our bedroom to create a new room for Will (the peanut will get his old room). This means our
ridiculously generous amount of closet space is being cut in half, AND we're losing the dresser, so I am trying to be ruthless about weeding out the stuff
I no longer wear. I think I did a good job of culling the office clothes, but am having a much harder time with casual wear. Maybe it'll be easier once
I'm actually trying to fit stuff into the new space.
